Image Sensor Innovator InVisage Names Syrus Madavi as Chairman of the Board

MENLO PARK, CA, Jun 25, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) — InVisage Inc., a Silicon Valley-based startup revolutionizing the imaging world, today announced that it has named industry veteran Syrus P. Madavi as chairman of the board. Madavi brings over 25 years of leadership and experience managing businesses in the semiconductor and optical communication markets.

Madavi’s career has encompassed managing a number of public and private businesses including serving as chairman, president and CEO of Burr-Brown Corporation; president, chief operating officer, and director of JDS Uniphase; senior vice president of Texas Instruments; president of Raytheon Semiconductor; and founder and president of Signal Processing Technologies.
