I just made $101 by removing a small item from my dresser drawer. And if you’ve got an old iPhone, you can, too.
Gazelle, a site that pays for used electronics and tech products, says Friday is the day you’ll get the most money for an old iPhone. That’s today.
The reason? The market soon will be saturated with used models as people try to raise cash to buy the new iPhone 4 on June 24.
I have an iPhone 3G (8GB) that has been sitting unused in my dresser since last summer, when I bought a 3GS. I could sell it myself; people are asking $200 to $300 for the 3G on Craigslist and eBay. But I’m too lazy (or let’s call it busy) to deal with the phone calls, the questions, the trips to the scary post office. And Gazelle is just too easy.
