Our Partnership

Through conversations with commercial PV integrators, we learned of Satcon as a technology leader in power conversion. Beyond market leading products, we also saw the opportunity to build a platform company around the role of inverters in renewable energy and the smart grid. Since our investment, the company has focused its strategy on utility-scale photovoltaics, streamlined its manufacturing operations, and brought to market a suite of highly innovative products including Solstice (distributed energy harvesting and storage integration) and Prism (fully integrated medium voltage solution).
