Founded in 2006, Second Rotation, the company behind Gazelle (www.gazelle.com), is committed to providing an easy, fast and safe way for consumers to get cash for selling back their used consumer electronics and/or recycle them in an environmentally-friendly way. To date, thousands of consumers have used gazelle.com as a way to successfully clean out their closets, get cash and even help out a good cause – all while being green. SecondRotation is led by a group of successful entrepreneurs and consumer internet veterans from companies such as eBay, BuyerZone and Fairmarket.
Our Partnership
Through gazelle.com, Second Rotation provides consumers the easiest, fastest and most trusted service to monetize or recycle their used electronics. RockPort was impressed by the team and their passion for creating the destination site for consumers looking to trade (buy and sell) used and new electronics goods. We led the Series B round to help the Company scale their business model and successfully turn their gazelle website into the trusted brand in re-commerce.
