The 22 year old company has been a pioneer in the development of wind technology and has built and shipped more than 160,000 wind turbines to over 120 countries worldwide and has sales representation in over 88 countries.   Applications for Southwest Windpower systems include residential homes, commercial properties, micro grids, remote cabins, telecom transmitters, offshore platforms, water pumping and sailboats. Southwest Windpower is the manufacturer of Skystream, Whisper and Air of distributed wind systems.

Our Partnership

When we first met Southwest, the revolutionary Skystream was on the drawing board and distributed wind was a tiny market.  Our vision was that Southwest’s technology, across all of its turbine lines, will lead to a renaissance for micro wind – or – put another way, this technology has the potential to become an icon for what it means to be energy efficient and green at the local residential and commercial level.
